Buff Existing Sundering Greens?
Well..because of the update
Sundring is now changed from 10/10 to 20/20 as max
i think Anet should then change the existing greens to match that perfect stat as greens are meant to have "perfect" mods. If they leave it like it is now..people are going to ditch their victos and drago bows as there are now more effective sundering mods out there.

Patience is a virtue. They will probably get around to it soon enough.

They changed existing Lieutenant's Helms, so I'm sure it's possible.

I had a shield that was +8 vs piercing (which was max before an update) they upgraded shields to be +10 Vs X and my shiled never changed and pretty much lost a lot of value. I doubt they'll change it.

well..greens are suppose to be "perfect" you see =p and that rockmoulder..idk what A-Net was thinking. Just thought maybe the greens with sundering mod wont be left in the dirt by the update.

I'm sure they will eventually change new drops to reflect the upgrade, but I garuntee existing items won't change.
As far as prices on Victo's axe, new ones would go up in price, but hopefully not too much because of the new Wing's Axe (I personally would get both).

Then they would've changed everyone's Sundering mods at that point.
As I said in another post, I think things that dropped as 10/10 should stay 10/10, but hear me out.
Once you get ANet to change everyones (although I HIGHLY doubt this will happen), people will start complaining to ANet to upgrade their 10/10 golds, and unused 10/10 mods to 20/20, only to make an easy buck. After all, it would only be fair, right?
20/20 is the new mod. It gives us something to farm (or in my case, refarm). If you want it, farm it, IMO.

Yeah I agree with this..my bludgeoner will just collect dust since its 10/10..
On a serious note, I don't think they should change the greens, or any items. Dunno why though...meh.

They better upgrade exsisting ones, Green "Unique" Items are supposed to be "Perfect".. thats why you never see ones with +25 fortitude.. etc..
the changes on The Rockmolder was a "nerf" where they changed the halves skill recharge from 20% to 10%.
the changes on The Lieutenants Helm was a "nerf" changing the Hex Duration from 50% to 20%.
the Change on Sundering should go into effect because the Green Items are no longer perfect for us who have them already. If they were 20% before and nerfed down to 10% then that would be fine as the would still be "perfect" in a certain point of view.
and never know, maybe Anet will care about the "economy" to upgrade existing ones as well. If they do not upgrade sundering the price of exsisting ones will go down to nothing.
Victos Axe - 10/10 = 25-30K (current) I predict about 5-10k if they don't raise.
Victos Axe - 20/20 = would be about 80-100K

I don't think it should change. No one's getting ripped off really. You payed for your axe taking into account the 10/10 mod. Many others bought the same mod for gold items and such. It's not like the 10/10 mod has gotten worse, there's just a better version of it.

It's not a case of being ripped off. It's time, effort and gold expended on acquiring the best gear. That is all wasted and needs to be redone from scratch in many cases. A 10/10 sunder worth 40-50K yesterday, is now worth nothing.
It's relatively simple to update a database, replacing one piece of information globally. If they included that with the update, it's trivial. Now after the fact it may be more difficult if the is no timestamp with each entry, so they can determine if the item was found/brought pre/post update.
I think they should have buffed items to the new standard, perhaps even scaling non-perfect items. A 10/9 would become a 20/18, etc.
I only have a few shields affected, so it's not a huge personal aggrivation, I just consider somewhat unfair and poor planning

Times two.
ANet's double-standards are running rampant again. Nerfing is universal, but buffing is selective? Get it together, guys, that's not fair.
